Hadar Rimon, Violin
Born in Tel-Aviv in 1986, Hadar Rimon began studying the violin at the age of 5 with Ms. Lena Mazor at the Catherine Lewis Music Conservatory in Tel- Aviv. She continued her musical studies at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in Tel-Aviv University with Prof. Irina Svetlova and graduated with excellence in both her Bachelor and Master degrees in Music Performance. She later completed a second Bachelor and second Master's, also graduating with excellence, from Zurich University of the Arts were she studied with Prof. Zakhar Bron. She is currently studying with Prof. Bron in the framework of Zakhar Bron Academy in Interlaken, Switzerland. Hadar won first prizes at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music's competition and the “Clairmont” violin competition in Israel. She is also the prizewinner of important international competitions, such as the Novosibirsk International Competition for young violinists in Russia, and the Sion Valais International Violin Competition in Switzerland. Hadar performed in recitals and chamber music concerts in Israel, India and all over Europe. She performed in festivals such as the "Felicja Blumental International Music Festival" in Tel-Aviv Museum, the “Zurich Herbst Festival”, and the "Interlaken Classics Festival" in Switzerland. She performed in concerts which were broadcast to the IBA Israeli radio, and transmitted to Israeli television in important halls such as "Targ Music Center" in Jerusalem, “Jerusalem Music Center”, "Zavta Hall" in Tel-Aviv, and “Henry Crown” Hall in Jerusalem. Hadar performs regularly in recitals and chamber music concerts in Israel and abroad with her mother, pianist Natasha Tadson. They have been performing together since the very beginning of her musical studies and enjoy a very fruitful family collaboration as a duo. Hadar performed as a soloist with the "Thelma Yellin" Symphony Orchestra, the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music Symphony Orchestra, the Haifa Symphony Orchestra, the Bombay Chamber Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of Sri Lanka, the Novosibirsk Conservatory Orchestra, the Dohnányi de Budafók Symphony Orchestra, Meridies Chamber Orchestra, Zakhar Bron Chamber Orchestra, the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, and others. Hadar has participated in Master-Classes in Israel, Germany, Austria, Italy, and Switzerland with Miriam Fried, Ida Haendel, Shlomo Mintz, Leonidas Kavakos, Julian Rachlin, Pinchas Zukerman, Victor Danchenko, and Zakhar Bron. Hadar received scholarships from the "America-Israel Cultural Foundation", the "Buchmann-Hayman" Foundation, the “Kolton” Foundation from Tel-Aviv University, the "Ronen" Foundation, "Omanut" Foundation, and different foundations from the Zurich University of the Arts. During her studies in Switzerland, Hadar also taught violin in Zakhar Bron School of Music in Zurich. Since 2015 Hadar is Concertmaster of Haifa Symphony Orchestra.
