The Virtuosi of Tel-Aviv ensemble combines musicians of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, which is under the direction of maestro Zubin Mehta, was created in 1996 by the violinist and composer Alexander Povolotsky.The ensemble consists of three violins, viola, cello and bass. Highly praised throughout the world, the Virtuosi of Tel Aviv has performed at various international festivals in Israel and abroad, besides, they toured across the United States, Canada, Europe and South America.Virtuosi of Tel Aviv have a variety of programs ranging from traditional Jewish music to classical music in jazz arrangements.
